The Treatment Process

EMatrix™ on the other hand, does not affect the top layer of skin, and does not cause the same kinds of pigmentation problems often caused by laser resurfacing. While eMatrix™ may not be the appropriate treatment for all patients, it is generally safe and effective for all skin types. While many skin treatments require significant downtime, eMatrix™ is different. It is a minimally-invasive technique that involves only mild discomfort after each treatment. Skin is usually sensitive after eMatrix™, and may look pink and sunburned for a short time. There is minimal downtime, however, which allows even people with busy schedules to tackle acne scars.
